The Intelligence-Driven Risk Platform

The intelligence-driven risk platform is the next level of what FRG has always done: solving risk issues faster.

When FRG started 20 years ago the main issue was the size of the batch window. Every number-crunching job had to run after hours so the results could be ready when the risk team showed up next morning.

Until the technology caught up, we solved that with smarts. We broke the math into bite-sized chunks and distributed as best we could.

The next iteration was to move the data into the cloud and break down the walls between technologies, so tools were matched to risk issues, not the other way around. That brought about VOR, our cloud-native, web-based risk application.

Now, we are taking another step towards risk excellence: the intelligence-driven risk platform.

Where Risk and AI Form Intelligence

Think of it as your FRG Digital Team.

This team has the best credentials. It understands math and technology. It has the relevant skills in your field and knows your business and organization.

Example: How FRG’s Risk Platform Monitors Data and Model Drift in Real Time

Say that your risk team met with your model team, and one  takeaway was to keep an eye on your PD model for any signs that it is out of sync with the actual data being passed through it.

So, your analyst goes to your digital team and says: “I need model drift monitoring for our PD model. Alert if PSI exceeds 0.25.”

Your digital team analyzes the request, selects the right skill in its toolbox, and drafts a monitoring blueprint, which is a set of instructions and specifications for how the model monitoring should be conducted on the risk platform.

Before executing anything, the digital team member shows the analyst what it will build. The analyst reviews the reasoned plan and approves it after any necessary modifications.

The digital team then:

  • Writes the monitoring blueprint, validates it against your organization’s metadata, and resolves dependencies.
  • Passes the monitoring blueprint onto the risk platform’s API, which creates processes, configures monitoring schedules, and submits jobs.
  • Confirms to your analyst that:  “Monitoring is active. First baseline captured from 2025Q4 data. Next check: end of quarter.”

Done!

A Risk Platform that Gets Smarter with Every Use

Please note that the analyst did not have to write a single line of code to retrieve data from legacy systems, port any models between inventories, applications, or programming languages, or publish the results in various BI tools or channels.

All the analyst had to do was state the request in plain conversation and review and sign off on the proposed solution. The digital team did the rest and beyond.

We say beyond, because they also made a “mental” note of what it was prompted, how its draft was modified and everything else about the interaction. They remember and learn from it, so when another analyst the next day, week, or month prompts: “check if it’s time to re-stratify the classification variables on the PD model,” the digital team does not start from scratch, but from what they already know and have done.

In other words, unlike traditional software, your intelligence-driven risk platform gets smarter with every use. It is continuously growing skills and experience, and therefore never outdated or down for major upgrades.

Security By Design: Guardrails to Protect What is Yours

We know that employing a digital team in risk intelligence can raise security concerns because of the sensitive nature of both in- and output.

We want to assure you that the intelligence-driven risk platform is safe. There is a clear separation between what the digital team gets to decide, which is always process intrinsic, and what your administrators control, such as permissions, access, and boundaries which can’t ever be overridden by digital team members.

The digital team will be working in confined spaces. Decisions must pass through human approval gates before execution. Every action is thoroughly logged, and audit tracks are immutable. The risk platform itself is guarded by its native security measures. Your data stays in your environment, the digital team runs in your cloud tenant, and no data is sent to third-party providers.

Smart, Fast, and Trustworthy

FRG’s intelligence-driven platform knows risk and you. You can talk to it, and it understands. It learns from everything you tell it and acts from there.

It can handle your data, build and run your models, generate all reports, and track itself. It can ensure your entire risk workflow keeps running in the very best way.

The platform knows what it does. It meticulously gets you results. It safeguards your risk intelligence. And it follows your lead, not the other way around.
