What We Expect

Open Positions

Team Leader – Analytics in Cary, NCOversee day-to-day design, development and implementation of FRG’s custom analytics engine for the VOR product. Provide leadership and direction to a team of 3 to 5 Analysts, Developers, and Support Staff for day-to-day operations. Ensure project requirements are delivered on time. Provide business and technical knowledge to the team including: Portfolio performance attribution; Portfolio decomposition and analysis; Portfolio factor analysis; SAS coding strategies and efficiencies for analytic analysis; and Coding, technical design, and configuration best practices. Perform data, system and business analysis; Develop code to support client projects. Communicate data, report any technical issue to project staff and clients. Requirements: Master’s (or foreign degree equivalent) degree in Financial Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Finance, Computer Science or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Consultant/Developer in the financial risk analytics industry. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Portfolio performance attribution; Portfolio decomposition; Financial risk analysis; SQL; SAS Base and SAS Advanced; SAS Macros; PMML; R and Matlab; and RDBMS (Oracle, DB2 and data).
