FRG Volunteers Help Pack Meals for Communities in Need

Cary, NC —May 19, 2024—  FRG recently participated in a Rise Against Hunger meal packaging event, sending a team of volunteers to the organization’s Raleigh warehouse for an afternoon of service and teamwork. Together, the FRG team helped pack 5,184 nutritious meals, which have been shipped to Madagascar, an island nation facing high levels of poverty and chronic food insecurity.

Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief nonprofit working to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives, and responding to emergencies. The meals packed by FRG will support vulnerable populations in Madagascar, where over 28 million people face challenges related to food scarcity, limited access to clean water and education, and frequent natural disasters. The Global Hunger Index currently ranks Madagascar as having an alarming level of hunger.

FRG’s participation in this initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and global community support. For more information about how Rise Against Hunger is working to end global hunger, visit https://riseagainsthunger.org.
