Chelsea Leighton and Mat Snyder, consultants for the Financial Risk Group, have earned professional certifications from SAS. The designation proves their expertise in SAS programming.

Chelsea Leighton is now a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS® 9. To pass the rigorous examination, she had to prove her knowledge of accessing data, creating data structures, managing data and generating reports. Ms. Leighton, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, joined FRG in 2014.

Mat Snyder is now a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS® 9. Advanced Certification credentials confirm robust expertise on tasks such as using advanced DATA step programming statements; demonstrating efficiency techniques for solving complex problems; writing and interpreting SAS SQL code; and creating and using the SAS MACRO facility. Mr. Snyder, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, joined the company in 2014.
