Dr. Jimmie Lenz, Principal with the Financial Risk Group, will participate in a panel discussion on Enterprise Applications of Blockchain in New York City on July 18, 2018. The event is hosted by BCG Digital Ventures.

Lenz is an experienced executive, lecturer, and scholar in the field of banking and capital markets and has been involved with Blockchain technology for some time.

“I had the opportunity at a relatively early stage to work with some of those pioneering the use of Blockchain for broad application, industry specific use, and cryptocurrency,” he said. “The technological advantages offered by Blockchain technology allowed for the development of a brokerage specific lending solution that has a patent pending. Blockchain is a major focus of a Finance course I’ll be teaching at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.”

Lenz will be joined on this panel by Kishore Bhatia, Venture CTO, BCG Digital Ventures, and Clark Thompson, Global Solutions Architect, Consensys. Tom Goldenberg, Senior Engineer, BCG Platinion | MAYA Design, is moderating the panel.
